Sister Eva Nakaggwa made her on her First Profession of temporary vows on Friday, August 14, 2015.  Mary Ngina became a canonical or First Year novice, she now wears a white veil.

August 14, 2015, was a day of both joy and anxiety. A lot of people were coming to help me celebrate my first profession, including Uncle Michael from Canada, Aunt Betty and Uncle Gerald from Uganda, Fr. Josephat from Uganda, Fr. Luke, a Ugandan priest who lives in Los Angeles, and Sister Avila’s sisters, Magna and Jo from Los Angeles. During Mass I was nervous, yet mindful of what was to come. Once my name was called, I stepped up and boldly pronounced my vows. I feel honored and privileged to be an Oblate Sister of Providence.
